October 14, 2011 - Managers, senior executives and company owners are invited to attend a free breakfast seminar that will bring them up to date with the very latest employment law and health and safety legislation.
Specialist in the field Bibby Consulting & Support is running the seminar – to be held from 9.00am to 10.45 at the Aston Villa Football Club in Birmingham on 1 November 2011 – to inform businesses about recent changes in employment law such as the new Agency Worker regulations. The event will also cover existing legislation such as the Equality Act, Fire Safety Reform and minimum legal responsibilities for training employees.
When the presentations finish there will be an open forum, a question and answer session and the opportunity to network with other directors. And before delegates depart a tour of the football stadium has been scheduled for those interested football fans who wish to see more of the ground.
Says Michael Slade, Managing Director of Bibby Consulting & Support: "Our recent survey of UK companies showed that senior business figures were often baffled and bewildered by the plethora of legislation affecting them. Some admitted that they didn't understand some crucial aspects of employment law while others were genuinely frightened.
"In a relaxed environment surrounded by specialist consultants who know their subject, managers and directors will be given clear insight into what they need to do to protect themselves and their companies."
He adds: "Businesses will want to learn how to stay on the right side of the Health & Safety Executive and how to avoid employment tribunal claims. And we guarantee that in under two hours everyone attending will learn more about their legal obligations than they could surfing the internet for two days."
Those interested in reserving up to two places at the 'Ultimate Legal Update' should call freephone 0800 0157541 or e-mail
