July 20, 2010 - One of the UK’s largest distributors and suppliers of folk lift trucks, Briggs Equipment, has recently won a prestigious technology and innovation award for its highly acclaimed ‘Speedshield’ asset management tool. The West Midlands based company beat off stiff competition to win the much coveted UK Warehouse Association (UKWA) Award.
In drawing up the shortlist of nominations, the UKWA judges looked for evidence of bold and innovative responses to the changing market place. The judges also looked for products that would have an effect on increasing efficiency in warehousing operations.
Speedshield promotes optimum safety and efficiency and gives customers complete control over its fleet. New to the UK and exclusive to Briggs Equipment, Speedshield directly impacts bottom-line costs by reporting in real time, on speed, truck efficiency, damage and misuse.
