February 10, 2010 - Briggs Equipment, sole UK national Cat ® Lift Truck distributor and leading independent materials handling service provider has appointed Chris Meinecke as Chief Operating Officer, effective from January 1st 2010.
Chris joins the UK team from the USA where he has worked with Briggs Equipment for over 18 years. Briggs Equipment’s parent company, Sammons Enterprises Inc., is one of the world’s largest privately owned companies who are committed to long term investment in the UK.
Now based within the UK at Briggs’ national headquarters in Cannock, Staffordshire, Chris will play a key role. “Briggs is in a uniquely strong position in the UK market, delivering innovative solutions for our customers and I look forward to working with both the UK team and our customers to achieve our mission of becoming the UK’s leading independent long term rental company,” said Chris Meinecke.
