April 28, 2009 - A Livingston-based company that specialises in supplying materials handling equipment has teamed up with one of the world’s leading mini digger manufacturers to provide its customers across Scotland with a wider range of products and services.
Briggs Equipment offers a one-stop-shop approach for businesses requiring all types of materials handling equipment and its appointment as a regional dealer for Takeuchi means it can now offer an extended range of mini excavators.
Grant Lockie, Regional Sales Manager of Briggs explained: “Customers need only to go to one supplier for all their materials handling equipment - saving them time and money.
“It is the first time the mini excavators have been sold in this way with customers receiving a bespoke service from start to finish. This offers them a more personalised buying experience and has given us a competitive advantage.”
Briggs Equipment (previously Finning Materials Handling), the UK’s sole national Cat® Lift Truck distributor, has been operating out of Scotland for over 25 years and has successfully met the needs of its customers by delivering a ‘cradle-to-grave’ service during the buying process.
