December 21, 2007 - 2008 may prove to be Briggs Equipment’s most successful yet. While continuing to invest in people, with leadership and sales training programmes as well as its well-established Modern Apprentice Scheme, Briggs intends to grow business in its key markets. The returns in its investment in the collaborative enterprise system, M3, will be realised fully in terms of equipment and engineer utilisation, optimisation of materials planning and provision of an enhanced level of service flexibility and responsiveness through an improved knowledge of customers’ needs. Briggs will put resources and continued focus into innovation, such as the establishment of the new VMLE division specifically addressing customers’ needs in the tail lift market. In addition, Cat® Lift Trucks will be announcing their new high level order picker early in the year. Briggs believes that these innovations will make it the first choice of service provider for its customers in the materials handling market.
